Career highlights have included the title role in a new production of Gluck's ARMIDE, Violetta in LA TRAVIATA, Elvira in ERNANI, Fiordiligi in COSÌ FAN TUTTE, and Madame Cortese in IL VIAGGIO A REIMS with the New Israeli Opera. Others roles in her repertoire include the title role in MANON, the title role in MANON LESCAUT, the title role in AIDA, the title role in MADAMA BUTTERFLY, the title role in TOSCA, Rosalinde in DIE FLEDERMAUS, and Donna Elvira in DON GIOVANNI. Concert highlights have included Violetta in LA TRAVIATA with the New Israeli Opera to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Israeli Opera as part of the 2010 Israel Festival; Violetta in LA TRAVIATA with the Haifa Symphony; a United States debut with the Connecticut Choral Society in Rossini's STABAT MATER; Mahler's SECOND SYMPHONY with the Israel Philharmonic, conducted by Maestro Gustavo Dudamel; and Mahler's DAS KLAGENDE LIED with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Gradinaru studied voice and musical interpretation at the Academy of Music in Bucharest, where she graduated in 1996. In 1998, she immigrated to Israel and was offered full scholarships from 1998 through 2002 with the International Vocal Arts Institute in Tel Aviv. She has performed with such conductors as Asher Fish, Dan Ettinger, Sebastian Raulond, and Paul Nadler.
