Career highlights have included the title role in MADAMA BUTTERFLY, the title role in LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR, Ilia in IDOMENEO, and Pamina in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE with the National Opera of Korea; Gilda in RIGOLETTO with Virginia Opera; the Queen of the Night in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE with the International Vocal Arts Institute; Norina in DON PASQUALE with Connecticut Grand Opera, conducted by Will Crutchfield; Pamina in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE, Despina in COSÌ FAN TUTTE, and Nannetta in FALSTAFF with the Natchez Opera Festival; Rosina in IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA with Opera Theater of Lakeland; and the title role in LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR, Olympia in LES CONTES D'HOFFMANN, Madam Goldentrill in THE IMPRESARIO, and Gilda in RIGOLETTO with the International Vocal Arts Institute in Israel, France, and Japan. Concert highlights have included Pamina in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE at Korea's Sejong Concert Hall; both the BRAHMS REQUIEM and CARMINA BURANA with the Southwest Florida Symphony, conducted by Paul Nadler; MESSIAH with the New Jersey Philharmonic; OPERA GALAS with the Institute Canadien d'Art Vocal and France's Au Château de la Ferté; and NIGHT OF STARS with the Natchez Opera Festival. Sylvia Lee specializes in the high coloratura soprano repertoire, as well as in bel canto style and early music.
